Our Dream Day ("we," "our," or "us"), a product of EZDevelopments, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our wedding RSVP web app ("Our Dream Day").

1. Information We Collect

• User Information: Names of the couple, wedding day details such as location, date and time, menu information, and their list of guests.
• Guest Information: Names, email addresses, allergy information, and selected menu options.
• Usage Data: We use privacy-friendly analytics tools (e.g., Vercel Analytics) that may collect aggregated, anonymized data such as page views, device type (e.g., mobile or desktop), and general location based on IP. This data is never linked to identifiable users.
• Cookies and Tracking: We use only essential cookies required to keep users securely logged in. These cookies do not track users or collect marketing or profiling data.
• User Feedback: We collect user feedback to improve our App. This information is kept anonymously and retained for ongoing internal improvement processes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide our service and to continue internal improvements
• Allow users to build and manage their wedding guest lists
• Process RSVPs and communicate with users and their guests
• Ensure security and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Cookies and Login Sessions

We use a secure cookie to store your authentication token after login. This cookie is used solely to maintain your session across pages and does not track your activity. The cookie is set to expire after a set amount of time for security.

These cookies are essential and do not involve tracking, advertising, or analytics. By using this site, you agree to the use of these essential cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser, but doing so may affect certain features, such as the ability to remain logged in.

4. Firebase Authentication

We use Google Firebase to provide secure user authentication. Firebase may collect anonymized metadata such as IP address and device information for fraud prevention and service improvement. Please see the Firebase Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All user and guest information will be deleted either one month after the wedding date provided by the user or one month after their service is set to end.

Users may also request manual deletion of their data before this period by contacting us. Similarly, if the user requests a copy of their raw data, this can be provided with any reference to our intellectual property removed.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. When absolutely necessary, we may share data with:

• Service providers who assist in operating our App
• Legal authorities if required by law

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your password secure, not using the same password for anywhere else.

You have the right to:

• Withdraw consent for data processing
